We hold ‘After-Hours Tasting Parties’ in our store and have fed, educated (and entertained?!) hundreds of happy customers, friends and newcomers. Parties start when we close at 6 pm and generally last less than 2 hours. Bookings are done over the phone or in the store. Note that we do curtail the parties during our busiest months of July, August and December.

Cost is $15 per person (to be collected, cash, by the event organizer and handed over to us, at or before the event begins).
We require a $50 deposit with booking of the party, refundable up to 1 week before the scheduled night.
10% off ALL purchases for everyone during the party, also SOOC Loyalty Program adds points towards future purchases.
Gift from us to the organizer or designate if desired.
Upon entry there is bread for dipping and oil & vinegar combos set out, as well as some other gourmet product sampling.
We’ll also have sparkling water ‘Shrubs’ for you when you arrive.
After a short presentation we bring out ‘undressed’ green salads, party guests create their own salad dressing with our oils & vinegars. We’re here to help with suggestions, and to assist you in creating your own signature salad dressing!
Second course is fresh fruit bowls, which you also ‘dress’.
You will be ending with Vanilla ice cream, which (you guessed it!) you also drizzle.
The whole event takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
Please inform us of your FINAL NUMBERS before 5 pm on the day prior to your booking, as well as any special dietary needs (gluten free etc.). We cannot guarantee we can successfully handle all dietary needs, but will do our best.
*Organizer is to collect all the entry money and have it for us at the start of the night.
No ‘outside food’ please!
Party size is limited to 8 to 12 people.
