Delicious ‘drop’ biscuits that are simple to make and come together with a FORK (no mixer or whisk)! Using our ALWAYS FRESH, Ultra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil makes these about as healthy as you can get, if you want to jazz it up, you could use one of our flavoured olive oils, such as Whole Herb Rosemary, Gourmet Garlic, Tuscan Herb, Smoky Chipotle, and many more. You can also add a half-teaspoon of dried herbs/spices to the flour at the beginning, such as sage or thyme for a ‘stuffing biscuit’.
1 C all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 C SOOC UP Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 C milk
Preheat oven to 450°F.
In a large bowl, stir the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt (and other dried herbs/spices, if using) until well combined. Pour in the olive oil and milk and stir with a fork, until just moistened. Divide roughly, into 6 equal pieces and place on parchment paper on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown on the edges.
