An elevated but simple adjustment to your Sunday brunch staple!
Ingredients
4 slices of bread (preferably a day-old bread)
2 large eggs
1 Cup of milk
1/4 cup of granulated sugar
2 Tbsp of Lavender Dark Balsamic Vinegar
1/4 tsp of salt
2 Tbsp of Roasted Walnut Oil
Fresh lavender buds or edible flowers for garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a shallow dish whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, Lavender Dark Balsamic Vinegar, and salt until well combined.
Heat 2 Tbsp of Roasted Walnut Oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Dip each bread slice into the egg mixture, coating both sides evenly.
Place the bread slices on the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Repeat with the remaining bread slices.
Serve warm topped with lavender syrup, fresh lavender buds, or edible flowers.
