One of THE simplest recipes in our library.
Try this with EITHER of the oils and see which you like best!
‘Pure’ Version
½ bag pre-cut Coleslaw (based on 340 g bag)
2 T SOOC Persian Lime Olive Oil or 2 T SOOC Toasted Sesame Oil
2 T SOOC Honey-Ginger White Balsamic
‘Mayo’ Version
½ bag pre-cut coleslaw
1 T SOOC Persian Lime Olive Oil or 1 T SOOC Toasted Sesame Oil
1 T SOOC Honey-Ginger White Balsamic
1 T Miracle Whip/Mayo
Stir everything but the coleslaw in a mixing bowl with a fork until it begins to emulsify (blend). Add the pre-cut slaw, toss, let sit for 10 minutes or longer. Toss again and serve. That’s it!
If you like some heat (like we do) add 1 tsp of SOOC Baklouti Green Chili Olive Oil.
If you are a fan of SOOC Toasted Sesame Oil (like I am!), try it instead of the Persian Lime Olive Oil – I think it’s even BETTER!!! :lol:
There are many interesting slaws now available on grocery store shelves, that go beyond cabbage and carrots. We’ve tried many of them and enjoy them ALL with this dressing.
